Zambia Meets Northern Minnesota

My friend and former colleague, Masauso Mwale, is visiting northern Minnesota for three weeks. He is here right now and we have been traveling around, speaking to different groups and organizations about our work together in Zambia and the university degree he earned from Mzumbe University in Tanzania. The Quad Cities Rotary Club in northern Minnesota took on the task of supporting him, financially and emotionally, through his three years at university and he is here now meeting them and thanking them in person. It is so fun to see him after seven years; he is still the shining star he was seven years ago. Here we are up at "Mineview in the Sky."

He is learning a LOT about the culture up here and is very much enjoying his time in Minnesota so far. I'm looking forward to the next two weeks of telling stories with him around the northland.
