Breakfast on the Farm

We didn't have much time with Jon this weekend as he spent most of his time in the library studying. We did, however, take full advantage of the time we did have with him. Here we are, ready to go at 7:00 on Saturday morning.

We visited the Dane County "Breakfast on the Farm," thinking it would be a little morning gathering with some cows, pancakes and a few early risers. This was the line at 7:35am.

Henry really liked the tractor ride we had to take to get to the already-forming line.

This was our breakfast. Yum. And yes, those are cheese samples on our breakfast plates. I love this state.

We also got chocolate milk with breakfast. Here we are posing with our chocolate milk. We are under a red- and white-striped tent; Henry is not extremely sunburned (like the man sitting across from us thought).

There were cows, pastures, a band, free ice cream and big tractors.

There was also a furry cow who walked on two legs with whom you could get your picture taken. Henry grabbed his nose. Henry grabs everything. (And fast.)

This was the line as we were coming out. We were really happy we left our house at 7:00 to get breakfast.

Did I mention that we love this place?
