Closing Another Chapter

We had a great weekend in Madison for Jon's graduation. It was a lovely ceremony, the weather was pretty good for four days, and we were surrounded by family and the friends with whom we went through this experience. We stayed right downtown and had two construction sites directly beneath our hotel room (Henry's dream come true). We had some time to relax, to watch a big building get its cement floors, and to get in some good time with friends we won't see now for awhile.

This is Jon's good buddy Chris, and Henry's good buddy Susannah.

Jon receiving his diploma (or, the sheet that says they will mail his diploma).

Post-ceremony celebration on the Terrace!
(This involved running around free, that's all...I adore this photo.)

Thank you, Papa, for taking pictures over the weekend so we could focus on the moment...and on our goodbyes. Home now, with summer just around the corner. I shed a tear or two for Madison as we were leaving town; finalizing our time there, and closing this crazy chapter of our life. Once again, bittersweet...just like last time we left. Farewell (again), Madtown.
